We live about 5 minutes walk away from Petersham Meadows. In the Spring and Summer, the National Trust grazes cows in the meadow. The children and I love to go and see them, and on this perfect summer morning, I took my first #getfitmummy solo 3 mile walk/slow jog since my ankle injury and had a brief chat with the cows as I walked home! They weren’t very impressed by my slightly sweaty, out of breath presence, breakfast seemed more of a priority.
Happy Wednesday!
When I was a little girl, lots of people kept cattle. Not so much now.
Here’s my Wordless Wednesday: How I Spent My Summer Vacation.
I spent most of my childhood in Scotland, in the country side, with sheep and cows all around, where I went to school. Time changes. I can’t imagine keeping a cow where we live! π
I’m sure if you caught them after they ate, they’d be more impressed. π Happy WW!

I love that you get to walk so near to them! I enjoyed that a lot when I went walking in England the summer I was studying there. Good job on your walk/jog!
