I cannot, for the life of me, make good meringues. I am very envious of those who seem to make them effortlessly, and with what seems like great skill. I have found a source though, of the most marvellous kind. You guessed it, Whole Foods, of course LSH is now calling it my “mother-ship”. The hazelnut-chocolate ones at the top are particularly good. I happened to be there on a day the had samples of all of them, I may have, ahem, tried each one to see which was my favourite! I know where I will be getting mine from when a dessert calls for them. Whether I pretend that I made them or not, is entirely another matter… π

Oh, yum, those definitely sound like the best flavor. I’ll have to try them out! There’s a French bakery near here that has meringues I can’t resist. I have to admit I’ve never been able to make my own, either!
They look so easy, and require so little ingredients, you’d think they would work out, but mine never do. I get eggy, soggy and yucky, or over cooked and concrete like. I will just have to keep buying gorgeous ones like these!
