do not leave cuddly toys in the cot. they carry germs and dust and can be used as a step to climb on

My advice is never let them start sleeping in your bed. Parents have real nightmares getting kids to re-learn to settle themselves. It’s heart breaking when all you want to do is snuggle them all night but it’s essential for their well being x

I’m a huge fan of co-sleeping but not from birth. Make sure you baby next to your bed and knows you are there. There is nothing more comforting for a child that being close to mum or dad.

I know everyone says it but it is so true – sleep when the baby sleeps and never wake a sleeping baby just because s/he is soooo cute 🙂
