That’s such a weird phrase, “under the weather” isn’t it? I wonder where it comes from? I am full of cold and a nasty cough virus. My GP says I am run down and never really recovered from the flu that hit me in January, and that I need to take it easy, which of course is a bit of a joke. I wish the NHS could prescribe warm holidays, but sadly, they can’t stretch to that.
Anyway, Welcome to our week in photos. Snippets from the slightly crazy that our life. There’s usually cake, coffee, a little chaos and usually a cat or two. You can also find us on Instagram & Facebook.
Yes, another hodge podge week, are there any other kind with us?
Small boy bed head selfies, that’s a pretty scary bed head look he had there and he took 36 selfies whilst I was in the bathroom…
Coloured rice at playgroup, it was messy but fun. Took us a while to hoover it all up afterwards so we didn’t have to face the wrath of the cleaning lady.
Prep for ballet exams. We find out next week how she did.
Small boys who are never to big to ride in toy cars.
Grumpy cats stealing warm bed spots.
Alien looking pasta. (actually it was black bean pasta with pesto and it was rather nice, it just looked like a prop from an Alien movie)
Spring flowers, finally.
Omelette, which I am rather good at making, if I say so myself.
And this book, which is part of the Ladybird book for adults series, I highly recommend getting it, it will make you laugh if you are a mum and enlighten you if you aren’t… 😉
So that was our week, how was yours?
Sharing a photo every day of the year… Project 366
I’ve never tried black bean pasta, it looks rathe interesting. Oh I would love the GPs to prescribe hot holidays. That would be just perfect right now. Hope you’re much better soon x
Looks like a very 1950’s ladybird book. 36 bed head photos made me laugh.
Hope her ballet exam went well.
Loving that bed head look.
