I think it’s great that you are setting this example, as it really is the best way for children to form good habits. I really have to think about this as we have a lot of gadgets in our house and the day will come when the girls have their own

I love this post and I love to have rules in the house although I don’t have a teen yet but my two toddlers are always busy on their Ipad and I want to limit them

Although my son isn’t at an age where this is an issue, I’ve been thinking about this myself lately. My phone is the first thing I check when I wake up in the morning, and if I wake up in the night I tend to check the time on it. And then you’ve woken yourself up a bit with the light and it’s that much harder to get back to sleep. Removing the temptation is such a good idea.

So good, it’s really up to us to set a good example for the kids, that’s who they learn from. We have a no gadget rule in the bedrooms, or at the dinner table. Great tips here – thanks!
