I’m not HUGE on mothers day but I do enjoy it, it’s nice to celebrate but I totally see your point, too. Mothers day can be anytime of the year, any day we choose (Same with Valnetines day and fathers day) Great post. xx

So true! Everyday seems to turn into a special day if we really care about each other. Mother’s day can’t change anything if we don’t really care for her for the rest 364 days.

My feelings exactly: we should appreciate our mums (and the rest of our family support network) every day rather tan just one. Presents are nice enough but saying thank you or I love you is infinitely more rewarding.

Too true. We didn’t do anything yesterday, mainly as my husband was out training on the bike. but I do agree with you that Mum’s should be celebrated, thanked and shown how much they are appreciated each and every day of the year because as you pointed out it is the hardest unpaid job in the world.

I think we are on same point of view. Love all the time is better than being shown once or twice a year.Our family celebrates Mother’s in a very simple way. My Mum loves fragrant roses, so we buy her a bouquet every week, just change to her favorite color on this occasion. We know she is proud of us, and we are pleased to make her happy everyday.

I think Mothers’ Day is much like Valentines Day. In the later you’re told to tell the special person in your life you love them when you should be doing that every day not just 14th Feb, and mothers’ day is very similar. So I totally understand what you mean x
