i gave up quite some time before the kids gave home worrying about cleaning they bedrooms, there was more important stuff going on and i had far bigger battles with them to fight

I have two teenagers at different ends of the spectrum. Bizarrely my eldest, my 18 yr old son is obsessed with order. My youngest, my 14 yr old daughter is a chaos fanatic. We have very lively discussions about tidying her room and at least 3 times a year I walk in with a super large bin bag and launch myself at the tat she has collected! I am a bit OCD about everything being in its place so I have to confess to creeping in when she is at school and moving things around in an effort to make it tidy. #TweensTeensBeyond

Ours is on the list as a job for pocket money and we are three weeks in arrears. If it doesn’t get done, there is no money. I don’t get the piles of stuff and the hoarding of toot! Good luck. Tonight is the night in my house apparently! #tweensteensbeyond

Aha! This is both of my girls…
The clothes….It is one big argument with my teen and I she never brings her dirty clothes down or puts her clean one’s away….
