However, I totally understand that its best for you to avoid the sun. I would do the same in your shoes.

Our homes are not built for such heat, with the priority on insulation and boilers rather than fans and air conditioning. The downside is the difficulty in sleeping at night at this temperature. I have stopped covering myself with a duvet and am using a light towel instead.

I can’t blooming stand the sun and the heat. I too surnburn regardless of wearing suncream! It’s no fun feeling hot and sweaty. It makes me agitated and irritable too! It’s just not enjoyable.
