We’ve all been there. I won’t tell you about the time one of mine broke an arm and I didn’t realise for …..ahem …a little while.Let’s leave it at that. Parent guilt in buckets. Glad it wasn’t anything more serious for your girl. Looking forward to reading your book. #TweensTeensBeyond

Oh yes please, when you write that book I will be at the book signing! You haven’t failed at all, kids are constantly changing and we are not mind readers. You got this sorted quickly and that’s what matters. This is a tricky time of year, they get bombarded by so many germs when they go back to school. Oh not really a fail, it’s so difficult to spot illness when kids are complaining. We have a little boy who cries ‘wolf’ too often, and I’m actually about to make a GP appointment for him, because sometimes things just need checking out, don’t they? Oh dear. We have all been there. I am guilty of having sent both mine to school only for them to be sent straight back with a flu and a raging temperature. Sometimes it is so difficult to tell. Sounds like you made up for it! #TweensTeensBeyond
