I think for me it took having a child with mild SEN to find my tribe and realising that I really needed them!

My tribe didn’t take off until my son was three but we haven’t looked back. We need each other for all sorts of things like picking the kids up, taking them to parties etc. We also try and have nights out together and boy are they funny nights. #StayClassyMama

I have felt very lonely at many times in the parenting journey in a way I never quite experienced before despite being shy and an introvert. Sometimes I feel like I don’t exist or matter at all except as someone to carry out a list of tasks. Right now i have a new sense of isolation with one son living overseas and my other two in their late teens and not wanting to spend that much time with me which is natural but hurts like Hell. Thank you for writing this post.
