					<description><![CDATA[So how is it going and did you use up that broccoli?  Having a couple of teenage sons helps keep down food waste here but while you wait for your lad to get to that stage I would definitely go with getting creative with leftovers (my favourite meals are often from leftovers, never to be created again!). Oh and ignore best before etc dates and go with your nose.  Did you know that 720 million eggs are thrown away in the UK every year as they are past their best before date?  If you really can&#039;t eat something that is post eat by date I would suggest getting organised in your fridge management, rotating food so the older stuff is near the front and doing a proper fridge rummage before shopping so you know what&#039;s in there and what you might need to buy to help you use up errant heads of broccoli. #GoingGreen]]></description>
