Spotty’s Sunday (9th June 2019)

Welcome to Spotty’s Sunday. This is the  gecko corner of our blog, shared by Matthew with a little help from his mum. Spotty is our leopard gecko who has come to live with us. He is currently almost 13 weeks old.

Spotty loves to eat. I think it is his favourite thing to do. He gets REALLY excited when he sees me coming to his tank and he thinks it’s food time. I have to be very careful when I put my hand in his terrarium when I am feeding him because he will get excited and try and nip at my fingers.

He has had a second moult and is getting much bigger. His tail is looking very spotty now, and you can see his markings really clearly.

Spotty is naughty, he WILL not climb onto my hand when my mum is taking video of him. He doesn’t want to show you that.

We are taking Spotty to see a special reptile vet in a week or two, to get him checked over. He isn’t ill, but we want to make sure we are feeding him correctly, and that he is doing well.

Mum says we will get a video of him climbing onto my hand, soon…

You can see how much Spotty loves his mealworms in this little video!
