My OH doesn’t play games either. He played Connect 4 with the nephews about 10 years ago but otherwise nothing. He preferred to sit out when we had them out at a party, even when it was in team, drunken and more about fun than losing. I think he’s just miserable about them rather than anything else. I play games with N all the time and really miss family games that need more than 2 players. They’re great memories from my childhood and it’s sad that he won’t join in so we can do games nights and make those memories for N. And i find it odd when we’re all playing at a party and he won’t join in. He says it’s because he’s thick, but there were 3 people there who hadnt heard of Ghandi and he wasn’t one of them, so i don’t think that’s a good excise for most games
