My Christmas Stocking Wish List

*I have kindly been sent some items to share for this blog post*

Christmas Stockings and their contents are a part of our Christmas traditions as a family and as the adults in the house tend to not buy big or very expensive gifts for each other, we focus on fun, thoughtful and wanted gifts for in the stockings for Christmas Day. The children get certain things every year, but the grown-ups mix things up.

This year I have some fun ideas for my stocking that I thought I would share with you. Like me, they are eclectic and suit my tastes.

Bath Bombs

These are a firm favourite of mine and this lush Lucky Cat one is right up my street. Pink, sparkly, cat-shaped and vegan.

This purr-fect little lucky cat is beckoning you to bathe. Fizzing into fluffy fuschia waters, multi-coloured stars burst from the centre, waving in good fortune and leaving you feline fine. A classically botanic blend of jasmine absolute, neroli and ylang ylang – this kitty is fresh, and floral, with a squeaky clean scent. You’ll leave the bath feeling brand mew.

Chocolate.

No lumps of coal for me. All the chocolate instead. These lovely bars from Guylian are perfect for stockings.

Guylian’s new 100g bars, each containing x4 individually wrapped 25g mini bars are just that! Each mini bar is encased within a resealable and recyclable envelope, and sales support social and environmental causes; Project Seahorse and Project Cocoa.

Project Cocoa is Guylian’s own programme to support sustainably sourced cocoa. Powered by the Cocoa Horizons Foundation, it aims to improve the lives of cocoa farmers, whilst reducing their environmental impact. With its new bars made from 100% sustainable cocoa, Guylian is on track to reach its ambition of using 100% sustainable cocoa by 2025.

Guylian has been the major sponsor of international marine conservation organisation, Project Seahorse, since 1998. In total, Guylian has raised more than 2 million Euros in support of the charity’s programmes, whilst helping to raise awareness around the world through targeted outreach activities.

Something sparkly and pretty.

I don’t wear a lot of jewellery but the pieces I do wear often reflect what I love. Etsy is always a good place to get something original, handmade and within your budget. This gorgeous necklace from K8tieSparkles is mine this year.

Food is life

I never say no to cookbooks and this vegan cookbook is very widely recommended and I won’t say no to getting my hands on a copy. I love the name, apart from anything else.

Time out for mum

Last but not least, whilst I can’t fit the V&A museum in my Christmas stocking, I would be thrilled to be gifted an annual membership. It is one of my favorite London museums to visit, and a treat to be able to spend a few hours there, usually when I am childfree.

I won’t be complaining if any of these things are in my Christmas stocking this year.

What will be in yours?
