Reading this brought tears to my eyes, last year was also a year out for me. I left my job, which I worked so hard to qualify in, because I just couldn’t give myself to it in the way the people I worked with needed. I went part time for the first time in my life, and became fully financially reliant on my husband. I hit low points, and high, and low again. I learnt how to say no, initially feeling that I had to explain myself when ever I said no, until about 7 months in and I learnt to say, no thanks, without explanation.
I am very thankful that we had already left the UK, relocated to the US and were settled with new friends and new found loves and hobbies. I think if I had the 2018 and 2019 I had had whilst still in the UK I would be nowhere near the healing I am now.

Through Project 366 I’m sure I’ll get to know you a little more, but I wish you a 2020 full of clarity and growth, with no regrets.
