I couldn’t agree more. Unstructured play is so important, particularly for children with additional needs. At my children’s school, Foundation year was based around play but certainly not from year 1 onwards. #StayClassyMama

We all need time and space to play adults and children alike methinks. What is self-care if not play really? My children have a lot of time to do their own thing. I long for the days that was outdoor stuff rather than too much screen-time but perhaps in time I will be proved wrong on that score. Whole new era with us mums trying to work out what is for the best. I know we are all happier when we get outside though. Missing my long walks with my oldest son who is now at college overseas. Love that quote on play too! #StayClassyMama

Totally with you on this, I used to be an early years practitioner and although I believe in learning through play, sometimes it is great for children to just play #stayclassymama@_karendennis
