Unstructured play is so important, particularly for children with additional needs. At my children’s school, Foundation year was based around play but certainly not from year 1 onwards. #StayClassyMama

What is self-care if not play really? My children have a lot of time to do their own thing. I long for the days that was outdoor stuff rather than too much screen-time but perhaps in time I will be proved wrong on that score. Whole new era with us mums trying to work out what is for the best. I know we are all happier when we get outside though. Missing my long walks with my oldest son who is now at college overseas.
