I got mine done at 45. I think how “classy” nose piercings look have a lot to do with the jewelry you wear. For me, it’s got to fit right, lay flat and be small. There is a huge difference between real nose stud jewelry (available at places like Alluring Body) and junky “mall store” jewelry that looks cheap (because it is). There’s a reason a woman in her 40s-50s-60s wearing a small diamond stud looks amazing and a teen wearing an oversized black hoop does not!

When I was 20 I had my belly button pierced on a Saturday afternoon. I loved it. The following Saturday I had my nose pierced. I loved it. My parents then freaked out over what I’d have done the following week! (I’ve had nothing more pierced since.) After getting pregnant with C, age 36, I took the belly button ring out for good, but the nose stud does still get worn from time to time – to the delight of my 7 year old daughter! I’m so pleased for you, I hope you enjoy your new jewellery 🙂

Yea! Congrats! I had mine pierced a few years ago. My mom just asked, “Did that hurt?” And that was about all the comments on it. I really like having it, no matter how old I am. 😉

Yay! Good for you! I had mine done when I was 19. I’m 40 now and still wearing it. My mum disapproved for about 2 seconds. She bought me diamond nose stud for my 30th, which she had especially made and remarkably I haven’t lost it of broken it!
