My cat has a safety collar with a bell on as she’s rather fond of stalking pigeons and has bought a few 🐦 gifts , though only when I was pregnant weirdly, never since! My mums cats refused them and one of them used to cry behind the sofa if you got one on him so that didn’t last long! I find the bell handy when I’m calling her in, if I can hear her I’ll wait a bit longer at the door

Thank you. I think a collar with a bell won’t really stop Jasper from hunting but it keeps the peace with the neighbours!

my cat has been wearing a pink leather collar with silver studs on it for 4 years, we never take it if and it carries a bell, a metal heart shaped tag with contact details, a plastic disc to show she is registered with the municipality and a bell, she makes a right noise just moving her head, yet still manages to bring mice and birds home

When I had a cat, I didn’t like her having a collar on. Now I’ve not had a cat for 20 years and more of a bird and animal lover, I think all cats should be wearing cow bells. I guess it’s one of those where it will be pretty evenly split between those with and those without a cat. I can understand both.
I didn’t like the permanent dent it made in her fur though.
