I heard this on the radio and one sentence remained clear in my head – “We don’t actually know the long term effects of vaping.” In that case why on earth encourage it by allowing it in public places. I get that it is probably healthier than smoking but nobody actually knows.

Thank you. I don’t want people who vape thinking I am anti that, but it just doesn’t seem common sense to allow other people to be exposed to it, when they don’t vape. It is known to cause problems for those with asthma, why would it be ok to allow it in an enclosed space in public?

I am a vaper and even I don’t think people should be doing it in pubic places and especially not on public transport…I only vape in smoking areas or my own home. I don’t see it any different to smoking. People don’t want to breath it in.
