A lot I can relate to here. On a more serious note if you ever need to escape now Rose isn’t here there’s a whole room that you can lock yourself in and only across the street. Your post sounds a lot like mine would be. Maths googling has become an everyday thing – my eldest is sitting the independent school test next week largely due to funding and how well they’ve handled the covid crisis and I look at her work and go I don’t remember being taught this until GCSEs she’s only 10! Also totally with you on the UN peacekeeping. However I guess we don’t have the same clothes issue – my eldest won’t get out of her pj let alone let me wash them and my youngest will only wear trousers will no top now Rose is sadly no longer here our washing piles have reduced … a plus I guess of lockdown 😳. I have to lock all food up not because of the kids but the other adults haha. Hopefully 2021 brings us all better sanity!

Although our sons have both officially left home, the youngest (23) has had to return home, as he was in his final year at uni and it has closed. I love having him here but the rise in our food bills is amazing. After three years of shared housing, he is much more understanding about tidiness etc although he still thinks there is a toilet roll fairy in our house!!

Considering she likes to be naked a lot of the time in this weather, how does she also manage to wear several outfits a day? If I can’t see visible stains I just put them back in the drawer now…. Haven’t tried switching the WiFi off to get the SO’s attention but that is a good idea. He has the ability to live in his own bubble entirely! Even if our bathroom door lock worked then the banging to get in would not be worth it. Last night he did bedtime and I went for a five minute evening walk and it was amazing. You forget how important being alone can be. #StayClassyMama
