Friday’s Rant from the Soap Box in MY Living Room – is that your dog poo?

Welcome to my Friday’s Rants from the Soap Box in my Living Room. My little space in the week, where I get things off my chest, and have a jolly good chunter. It’s therapeutic and spares LSH from having to listen to me! πŸ˜‰

So this is my second blog post about poo this week, but this one is about dog poo. I have ranted before about people who let their dogs poo on the pavement and don’t clear it up, and how disgusting that is but now I have a new rant…

Why is it that dog walkers and dog owners do this??

That’s dog poo. Yes, the owner of said dog, has taken the dog for a walk, and dutifully picked up it’s poo, bagged it, but then JUST LEFT IT THERE…

Why? Is their home outside bin too posh to put dog poo in? Do they think it’s someone else’s job to clear this up and it must be ok because it’s in a bag? Why bother? Also, please note, this particular example is RIGHT NEXT TO A BIN? Why not put it in the actual bin?

I have seen so many little baggies left under trees, on the grass, and even on the pavement. We even have one local dog walker who likes to tuck them into other people’s paths or driveways.

There must be a very logical explanation for this, I just can’t muster it up, myself personally. Perhaps someone can enlighten me?

That’s my rant. Have a great weekend and don’t step in any dog poo if you can avoid it! πŸ˜‰

  1. I hate when people do this, it is just so lazy, you just know they threw it at the bin, missed and walked off (you see the same with normal rubbish) – just Lazy people, really gets my goat.

  2. πŸ™‚ I can’t understand it either; why, why, why … seriously why! You own it, you clean it. Perhaps there ought to be a dog owning responsibility test. A good rant read πŸ™‚ #aNoviceMumCommentLuv

  3. Yep. I’m always surprised at how people leave the bags behind! I have to admit… I do bag up the poo and put it near the sidewalk out of the way… but that’s so I can grab it on the way home rather than spending the next 20 minutes carrying it.
