*this is a review post. We were kindly sent an item to review, share about and giveaway*
I am always keen to try things and add things to our life that make things that bit easier for us, or that help us as a family. So when the team at Tesalate asked me if I would like to review and share about their rather clever towels, I wasn’t going to say no.
Towels you say?
These are not just towels. These are beautiful, light weight, quick drying beach towels and they are also SAND free.
There is nothing more annoying than a soggy beach towel, covered in sand. As a mum with a child with sensory issues, who hates sand on things, and gets very upset when sand gets into his towel, and because sandy towels are, frankly, annoying, to be able to have towels that can reduce the amount of sand we drag home with us at the end of the day, or that gets on our skin, is a genius idea.
Tesalate is an innovative Australian company and they gave this to say about their towels.
They are:
Sand free
AbsorbLite’s engineering allows for sand to slip off easily. So you leave the beach at the beach.
Absorbent
We mean ultra absorbent. This baby will retain up to a litre of water. The wetter you get, the better.
Rapid-dry
Engineered to dry in half the time than a regular towel. No more post-dip soggy towels!
Compact & light
No more bulky towels! Our towels are lightweight & roll into a compact size to fit into your tote.
Amazing right? I have to say we have been very impressed with the quality of the towel, and it washes well and their products really are high quality. They are worth investing in.
We are delighted with ours and it really is an invaluable addition to your beach kit.
We are delighted to share that we also have one Tesalate towel to giveaway worth £45.

My tip is to take as little STUFF to the beach as possible! I HATE sand getting everywhere 🙈
We always take a sponge (in a plastic bag) that we have left in the freezer overnight and then slowly it defrosts and you have a convenient wipe for sticky hands/ faces etc after snacks and lunch. Mich x
Take a bag for your rubbish and don’t forget you buckets and spades!
Nothing beats chips at the seaside, so don’t bother with sand-filled soggy sandwiches!
Make sure you pack plenty of sunscreen, water, food, a good book and plenty of toys for the kids.
Take a supply of wet wipes.
My tip for the beach is always take a little bucket for the kids to collect shells/ interested things in…
Walk (or take the bus) to the beach to prevent getting the sand in the car! 😄
Make sure you take some talcum powder, works miracles to remove sand at the end of your beach visit
Make sure you take plenty of sun cream and keep the kids covered x
my tip for the beach is to take a ziplock bag to put your phone in incase it gets wet!
Take a brush to brush the sand off everything before you put it in the car
It has to be fish and chips out of the paper if you can get it
Have all your essentials ready – water snacks earphones and towel – ready to sit back and relax
Hide money in an old sun screen bottle.
BE prepared, have water and suncream and plenty of both x
Take loads of sunscreen. That is key to everything! Burning will ruin your day as well as several after that.
Find a beach that doesn’t have pebbles if you are planning to lay out the beach with your towel.
Pack the essentials, such as :- Refreshments, sunglasses, sun tan lotion / protection, beach towel. Relax and enjoy the day.
Go prepared with sun cream, beach toys, snacks and drinks and wipes to clean up after
I buy everyone towels but need a new one myself please ,We live near Bribie,so would be very appreciated .
Top tip has to be to bring different types of SPF! Creams for the first application and then a convenient spray for frequent top-ups.
