How was my day?
It’s Rememberence Sunday, which does feel to me becoming less and less of a thing, that many would like to forget. For us, it is important. My great grandfather died in Belgium during the First World War, so for us it is vital we remember. Kiddo took part in the local memorial walk with his Scouts group which was lovely to see, with plenty enough people to commemorate, restoring my faith that we have not quite forgotten.
I have the start of a cold, blessed upon me by my son, from last week. Of course, because I am a mum, I don’t really get time off to rest, but plod on.
I am feeling anxious, about this week. If you follow me on Threads you will have seen me talk about an issue I am having with a tooth, that may need repairing. Not as simple as it sounds though, because I have a hyper active gag reflex and my current dentist has suddenly decided that she won’t do any treatment for me and has referred me to a place that does treatment under sedation. I don’t particualrly want to be sedated, pre and even post covid, I have had some work done on my teeth, and it can be done, but not this time. We shall see what happens when I meet the new dentist this week and where we go with that.
Our football team lost their match today, so we are a house of gloom.
