You may have seen our ladybird larvae a week or two ago. Now we have literally freshly metamorphosed ladybirds. I was quite chuffed to have captured this… Taken with my HUAWEI P20 with no filters just a bit of cropping close up.

Ladybird larvae caught in the act of shedding its skin and becoming a ladybird… we have a whole bush outside our house full of these slowly metamorphosing. The small boy is in entomology heaven watching them all!
