So, apparently there’s a new concept in town, or maybe it isn’t a new concept, but just something revamped. This season it’s about Hygge and the Danish concept of comfort…
Whilst I don’t generally like clutter or too much stuff, I can get behind the idea of comfort, and making life feel good with soft blankets, and making rooms feel cosy and welcoming, particularly in the winter months, when life can feel a bit dull and damp frankly, especially when the days get so dark so early.
So whilst I am not one to follow trends, too much, I am embracing the idea of cosy and snug, and I don’t think you can have too many soft snuggly blankets to cuddle up to. My favorite are soft silky ones, made of fabrics like cashmere or silk, or faux fur, that you can cuddle into and keep warm. Perfect for on the sofa, or on your bed…
