The final photo in our series as we have watched the ladybird larvae in the bush outside our house change, and go through metamorphosis. This one is more unusual, we don’t see red on black as often. My small boy entomologist has been fascinated and it has been fun to watch them change.
He took this photo using my Nikon, I helped him edit it slightly so you could see the ladybird more clearly.
Wonderful detail, you hardly ever seen them that colour.
Have a good Sunday and thank you for linking up to #MySundayPhoto

Beautiful capture!
What fantastic detail. The colour really is so different to the ones I have seen.
Oh wow! That is unusual. Fantastic photo! x
Oh wow! That must have been brilliant to watch each day. Stunning colours. #mysundayphoto
Great capture! What an unusual color for a ladybird…#MySundayPhoto
Hi Karen, I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a ladybird in those colours before. It’s like a negative of a regular one. Your little entomologist hs done a fine job editing the photo too.
xx
How odd that it has turned out this way. I wonder what the reason for that is. #MySundayPhoto
