Welcome to our week in photos. This is our weekly catch up for both sets of grandparents who live abroad and don’t get to be as much a part of the daily madness of our lives as much as we and they would like. So we share here for them to get at least a snippet of what we get up to.
PINCH PUNCH FIRST OF THE MONTH. Hello March. February was pretty challenging, and we had some pretty weird weather. Let’s see what March brings us!
This week has been incredibly busy but a lot of fun, and we have been out and about, kite flying, learning about Romans, we have had first sleepovers at Cubs, well done postcards from school, enjoying craft subscription boxes, being a Jedi, and of course, the cats remain firmly in charge, and Layla would blog if she could use a keyboard with her paws!
We have also been enjoying lots of lovely food (and wine, review for that later this week) and the tween has been baking, for me. My dinner looks like Mickey Mouse (and I am obsessed with crushed minty peas) I had a divine vegan pizza, and celebrated a friends birthday. We also were lazy this week, and I have barely cooked. Pad Thai takeaway for the win. I have eaten out more than in this week, it seems. Ps that vegan “jerky” is pretty good, I am not a jerk fan generally, but this was actually quite tasty.
My boy is at his first sleepover this weekend, and I am trying not to be a worry Mummy about how he will cope, and if he will be ok. We shall see how he gets on. Hopefully he and the 15 other little boys will get some sleep tonight.
How has your week been?
