Tweens are mysterious creatures. They swing from being lovely and interesting to stroppy and toddler like. They keep us on our toes and parenting one is a somewhat bewildering experience. However they are useful, because if well trained they can be persuaded to manifest themselves into the kitchen when Mum isn’t feeling well, and are able to cobble together a pretty respectable meal for the family. They also roll their eyes a lot and make grimace faces when mum takes photos for evidence that they can actually behave in a semi civilised human fashion…
She made a couscous salad, by the way. It was pretty good!
My teen would get me chocolate and crisps lol. I think I should send him to you! x
