Our week in photos 24/08/19 – 31/08/19 Ends and goodbyes.

Welcome to Our Week in Photos. Our way of sharing our week and what we get up to with our family abroad and grandparents who like to keep up with our life and antics.

This week has been mixed, lots of fun, lots of sun (IT WAS HOT) and a bit of sadness as we  said goodbye to my dad who flew home to Thailand, where he lives, after a month here. The kids have enjoyed spending time with him, and we will miss him a lot. We need to plan our own trip to Thailand, for another visit. Life keeps getting in our way, but we hope that next year it might happen, like we want it to. We shall see.

We have had zoo visits, Kew Gardens visits, visits to retail outlets (and the tween is still sulking because I wouldn’t let her buy the VERY expensive designer top she wanted, I am so mean, but she is planning to go back with her birthday and Christmas money apparently) stops at beautiful National Trust houses, and the tween and husband still haven’t unpacked the camping gear fully or put it away despite being back since Wednesday (they had a lot of fun, I wasn’t so amused at the smelly pile of washing that came home, but let’s not talk about that too much!)

As usual, our week in photos is in the video below. Or you can click here to see the week summed up in a two minute flash.

Now to distract us with not feeling to sad at goodbyes, and preparing for back to school, in the various forms. We hope this week has treated you kindly. See you next week.
