*This is a review post. We were kindly sent a dvd to review and to giveaway*
I don’t know about you, but Dr Seuss books were a classic for me as a child, and now my children enjoy them too. Funny, clever, and eccentric, the stories and tales make us laugh and are a great way to encourage kids to enjoy reading.
The Grinch is one of the Dr Seuss stories that everyone surely knows about. Telling the tale of a grumpy old creature who hates the world, apparently and is intent on being miserable. He decides to ruin people’s lives by stealing Christmas but his plan is foiled, and he eventually realises that being miserable and mean isn’t how he wants to be.
If you haven’t read the books, you have missed out. Get yourself to your local library now.
However, there is also some good news. You can watch The Grinch. The classic, funny and pointed tale is now available on DVD and it’s a fun family movie for all to enjoy.
This version is an updated and crisp adaptation that is fun, and entertaining and my kids thoroughly enjoyed it. We would definitely recommend getting your hands on a copy to watch and it’s one you will watch again and again. I think Dr Seuss would have approved of this version. We certainly do!
We have some good news and a little giveaway for our readers. We have a copy of The Grinch on DVD to giveaway to one lucky reader and their family.
