Sliding back in after three weeks away to share this. No filters, no editing. The water really is that colour. It’s Lac Pavin, which is a volcanic crater lake that is still considered “active” in that there is evidence of thermal and some activity underneath it and within it. The volcano nerd in me had to drag the husband and kids to visit, it was a lovely drive away from where we were staying. They didn’t mind, they enjoyed the walk around and views and they tolerate my volcano nerd thing…
