Welcome to Our Week in Photos. Our way of sharing our week and what we get up to with our family abroad and grandparents who like to keep up with our life and antics.
The last week has been a little stretching. We found out that Layla may have a cardiac issue. She is 14 years old, and as a half Persian cat, she is more likely to have heart issues, but it’s not easy news to hear. It may be something we can deal with, with medication, or it may be more serious. We are waiting for test results to see what’s what. Meanwhile, we had fun chasing around trying to find the pain medication she needs for her hips and back. It’s been hard for me, because she is my partner in crime, that has been with me since she was 6 weeks old, and I am not ready to face her getting older, or worse. Let’s hope we hear news this week that is more positive than negative.
My chosen photo this week is Madame Layla on her favourite windowsill perch. She hasn’t been up there for months due to her hips and back being sore. She is now feeling a lot more sprightly after a week of medication, and asked to be allowed up there to shout at the birds.
We have had visits with dinosaurs, lots of baking and eating, work being busy and kids with better social lives than their parents as usual, this week. You can see what we have been up to here or click on the video to see our week.

Hopefully by this time next week we will have a plan for Layla and I will know what’s what.
Has your week been kind or chaos, or like us, a mix of both?
Aww! Poor Layla. I hope she’s better soon. It sounds like she’s a bit more active than she has been x
