You might suffer with depression for a long time before you actually realize that it is there, and this is one of the most dangerous factors of it at all. However, feeling the need to sleep a lot is one of the sure signs of depression, so you might want to seek out the help of a therapist if you think that your sleeping issues could be stemming from something psychological. Remember: there is no shame in getting help of any kind. It’s just another medical condition which needs attention, so do yourself the kindness of getting that attention as soon as possible.
It Could Be Stress
Sometimes you can lack sleep and feel tired because you are stressed out about something. This might be something coming up in your future, or a persisting issue in your life. Either way, it is best to make sure that you are aware of your mind’s processes as much as possible, so that you are less likely to allow stress to have this kind of effect. And if you think you are stressed, try to engage in a meditation practice every day so that you can try and relieve it as well as possible.
