Our week in photos 19/05/19 – 24/05/19 Celebrating life

Welcome to Our Week in Photos. This is very belated, and late. But better late than never I guess, and our way of sharing our week and what we get up to with our family abroad and grandparents who like to keep up with our life and antics.

If I said that the end of April and most of May have been one of the most stressful periods of life, that I have known, for a long time, after a period of extreme stress and complex issues that hit us, last autumn, I wouldn’t be joking. However, crossing all my fingers and toes, we THINK things are slowly returning to normal. The husband, whilst recovering from Myocarditis

managed to pick up a flu virus, and we had another trip to hospital to get him checked out, and a week of worry that his hear might be affected by the flu bug whilst still recovering, and dealing with high fevers, but he seems to be feeling much more himself and I haven’t had to brandish a thermometer or medicine at him for almost 48 hours, so let’s hope that we are able to relax a bit and he can slowly get back to work and normal life.

In between that we have had our usual busy and crazy week.

I have to say that I have been very impressed at our local hospital in terms of providing food that the husband could eat, safely, for his food allergies, and I have been slowly easing back into vegetarian and vegan again, after a  period of basically eating anything that was put in front of me, whilst being in hospital with him, and other people kindly feeding us and providing meals for us. We have tried a few new things this week, food wise, including vegan Mac&Cheese bites which the tween declared ok, too.

We managed t0 prop Dad up enough to eat cake and blow out a birthday candle, and of course, we have the usual grumpycat featuring.

We have survived the week, that’s basically a win, right?

You can check out our week below, via IGTV to see what we have been up to in full.

This is my favourite photo of the week though…
